Hi All

I'm consolidating and selling my daily Subaru Legacy Spec B and my Maserati 3200 (mint and very reliable I'll have you know...don't laugh). With a young family I want something a lot newer, safer but still a smile inducer.

Loved the B8 RS4 for ages Just when I thought my decision was made, having ruled out C63 as a bit dated and unruly (all be it awesome) for my requirements, I woke in the middle of the night and remembered the M5. For a couple of grand less then the RS4 you can pick up a M5 of the same age and mileage. AHHHHH, what do I do now.?!!

Some wise words would be appreciated.

Thanks

Test Drive them both smile also as a side note you do know the C63 comes in 4WD, plus the M5 can be just as unruly as the rwd C63 but only a test drive will tell what one suits you best.

Thanks. Do you mean the new C63? Out of my price range I'm afraid. I'm looking up to 35k. I find the older C63 to be a bit dated compared to the RS4 and M5. Test driving both the latter tomorrow!

Can I ask what made you choose the RS4?

In a similar position. Currently have an e92 M3 which is proving difficult with the baby seat just fitting in, so looking at something more practical and RS4 is on very high up on the list...

Hi

I went for the RS4 purely on it being an estate. If there was an estate version of the M5 I would have looked in to it more. My mate gave a lift to pick up my rs4 in his new m5 and although mighty impressive it felt the inside of the car felt a llittle old man compared to the rs4. The performance is anything but and it is amazing on fuel compared to the rs4.
