Mercedes finance. Increase in excess mileage charges?
Discussion
Sorry if a re-post as leasing has been done to death here.
Excess mileage on Mercedes finance. On previous cars typically 9p per mile. Now seems to range from 9.6p for A-Class, 10.8p for a E-Class to 14.4p for GLC. New phenomenon? If so, big percentage increase.
NB: Don't want to be dragged into a lease/buy debate. Simply interested in what appears a back door price increase. About 20% for the E Class.

Varies wildly deal to deal / car to car
My E63 AMG was only 6p/mile but my M6GC is 25p/mile!
It's only a price increase if you use the extra miles though. It just depends how much they DON'T want you to do extra miles in it and how they judge it will effect residual value.

Exactly 20%, in fact. When I leased my E-Class four years ago it was 10.8 p inc VAT - are you sure they're not just quoting VAT inclusive?Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
