Two cars... previous car was f31 335i touring sold to reduce monthlies. Liked this car a lot.

Both save me £100 a month

F30 saloon 330d - fully loaded, estoril blue m sport 64 plate

Mk7 golf r - lots of spec but not quite as much as the BMW. 15 plate (7months newer), manual gear box but done 10k more than the BMW.

Driven both, like both a lot, think a change to the golf would be good as I have had the same BMW model before but I wouldn't have sold the 335i if it was a bit cheaper per month. The 330d is obviously not as powerful as the golf or the 335i but I don't think there is that much in it, the 330d would be better on motorways the golf better in the back roads. My journey each day is back roads and motorways 👍

I'd pick the golf for fun factor and the fact I'm not into BMW's at all. So I'm majorly bias. Must be close if you've driven both and can't decide. What spec does the BMW have over the golf?

Not sure what your motorway mileage is, but don't discount how useful the adaptive cruise is, granted mine is with DSG but it makes long distances on motorways far more relaxing.

There's nothing really extra the BMW has that's jumping at me. If the golf was lesser spec (no sunroof / heated seats) I'd sway for the BMW.

Yeah I'm swaying that way as well.

Adaptive cruise wasn't something I was aware of but is a great point
