Mini Cooper or 1.2l citroen c1 more fun for slow/urban roads
Discussion
The Mini is a great car, it looks good, it's well screwed together, it's got a premium feel and as you say its great to drive. However I can totally relate to your love for the much lighter, less powerful, less grippy little French thing.
They're very different cars but IMO the Mini will be so much better at everything else except perhaps the really slow stuff that if budget allows you should at least try one.

My total mini miles number fewer than 100 and for comparison I have driven the Peugeot 107. I'm used to driving old cars so I wouldn't describe the clutch or steering of either car as heavy. The C1 will be great a 1st and 2nd gear kind of stuff. If you're doing mostly city journeys then it's smaller dimensions and greater nimbleness will probably win it for you. I'm just saying the Mini is hardly a large or unwieldy car either.
