Listed cars not available. (second hand approved)
Discussion
Third world problems and all that. Edited for clarity.
Edit. I am trying to buy a car from the Ford Direct web site. Web site says there are loads (Fiesta Titanium, all the bells and whistles, under a year and low milage). I go to the dealer with the chosen one and the dealer says the ones on the public facing web site do not exist on his internal web site. He cannot find any. Only a few diesels. That is he cannot find any other Fiesta, be it Titanium or Zetec petrol.
The dealer says the cars are held at a central stock, and the dealer will need to get them in (if they are there). One might be listed close to my location but it is actually in a central compound.
Ford second hand section at my local dealership say it is Ford that put the cars on the web site. Ford say it is the dealers.
Emails are on another planet with the responses.
Has anyone run into this problem and is there a way around it?
