Our Ioniq is delayed till mid month and the lovely people at the garage have leant us an insured Tucson to use till it comes.
Well in 35 years of driving never have I found such a highly specced car ! its a premium SE 4wd auto and whatever you think of it has it - the button count is immense !
I drove home after collecting it thinking of things it might not have - Dab, cooled seats, self park, radar cruise, folding mirrors, blind spot, elec seats, hill descent (!), heated back seats, elec tailgate - all present! ironicly the bluetooth sound quality isnt that good but its a spec tour de force.
I had a google and these at a year old are about £20k with 4 years warranty left - very tempting for the future.

My guess is it's probably a Demonstrator and specced up to show off all the options.

Kia and Hyundai are doing some decent-looking cars nowadays.

Just researching these now for a lease deal. Premium SE is the top spec. Lots of kit. Best deals seem to be on the SE Nav.
Hopefully get a test drive next week. Some fantastic prices on these this month.

No options except red leather ! its all standard! its easy to drive and pokier than you would think however its a school bus shopper with 4wd. I think getting a 2 year old one on a 3 year PCP is the way to buy one - 5 year warranty so no bother there and they dip under £20k at 2 years.
What lease deals are there ?

If you look at the Kia version (Sorento), which I assume would be specced similarly, you'd get even more warranty!

They might hold their value a little better as a result though!

Sorento is the much bigger car, sportage is the equivalent kia.

You are quite correct, I was confusing Tucson with Santa Fe!

I thought they were still calling the smaller one the iX35!

They are indeed cheap and cheerful. If it wasnt for the 0-60 in 2 weeks, i wouldnt mind having one for a run around.

If you want to see spec check out the Kia Optima 3 heated rear seats etc

The Hyundai has these too.
