Go on WBAC and put in the reg. That's trade, add 10-20% for private and another 10-20% for normal retail.

I'd want to see some evidence of that work being completed at the very least

you need a lobotomy if you are considering buying a 2007 vauxhall with all them advisories.

I advise buying something else.

40k on an 07 vaxuall estate with those issues... those miles seem very low to me for all that work...

The fact all 4 tyres were cracked/perished would suggest to me they were the originals so that would reassure me that the mileage is probably genuine.

However have those issues from the MOT been rectified or not? It isnt clear as what you've posted says they were advisories and failure?

Depends how much.

Whatever you pay you'll obviously have to budget for a bit of tlc. A new set of boots for a start

The value on online sites varies wildly from about £1000 to £3500.

What engine and spec?

1.4 club or 1.9cdti XP will make a big difference

The info was at the last MOT. The FAIL (coil spring) was rectified but perhaps not the ADVISORIES.

The place I'm buying from is a trusted garage owner that has quoted me £2,200. It looks in great condition to me but I don't know anything about cars TBH.
I have a test drive tomorrow. Any advice on price or what to do in the test drive?

TY

The fact that all four tyres need changing point to the previous owner not taking care of the car.Would make me think twice about buying it.

For a quick comparison, a friend of mine just bought an 11 plate 1.6 twintop Astra for 4k with 28k on the clock.

For an 07 estate and a 1.4 I would be looking at 1500 quid really.

I'm sure I went to a website that gave me the "Private-Poor, Private Good and Dealer" prices somewhere (just putting the numberplate in and not having to register)

I forget which site, Any Ideas?

First 2 mean that the steering rack has play in it, will end up in a fairly large bill to replace said steering rack.

3rd one I think means the rubber cover is damaged, same with number 4, are ok for now but will need sorting in the future as its still keeping
the dirt out.
