So my current lease is coming to an end in June 2017.
In Jan 2017 we enquired about leasing a Skoda Kodiaq (we require a 7 seater SUV) and was hoping to pay a maximum of £350 a month for the top spec however at the time the best price they could offer was £375 (3+23, 10k PA).
The dealer advised us to wait until April 2017 where prices could drop - a risk we took.

Now in April for the same car/spec the prices have actually increased...Now it will cost us over £500 per month!!!
I know there has been changes recently with the VED increase, which hasn't helped our cause as well.

Would it be advisable to see if things settle over the next 2 months and possibly reduce or take the plunge on a lower spec while upping our budget to £400 a month?

You should have consulted a coin and not your salesman.........

Is the 7 seat SE-L for £223 per month.

Thanks m8, a big down payment of £3000 inc VAT but still averages to less than £400 a month.
Do I have to take that exact config or can I add options to it?

It depends if it's already in stock or if it's built to order.
You would have to phone and find out.

Only thing with adding options is you pay full wack for it.

Seems strange but would it be cheaper to buy? It has worked out cheaper if you want a lot of options.

I have only just leased my first car (golf r estate) so I have no idea if I would miss some of the options that are on the list as its a well specced car to start with. WOuld of liked blue paint but for the £660 extra I got quoted I wasn't that bothered.

Maybe add up what you want - and see how it works out leasing or buying. I can see strong demand for the Skoda so money off maybe not much if any to start with.

How long is the lease you have been looking at?

My Dealer is looking to provide me the following -

Edition 1.4TSI 150 DSG (7 Seat) 2WD
36 Months (3+35) 10kpa £400 inc VAT per month

includes -
ISOFIX on front passenger seat
· Electric child safety lock with rear window roller blinds
· Media Command
· Park assist

This seems to be the best deal from the many dealers I have contacted.
Should I bite the bullet and go for it?
