Afternoon all!
Right so I've just sold a car and am looking to buy something cheap but interesting to replace it with.
Some sort of daily-bh but not just a bland fiesta.

Aim for around £1000, maybe £2k at a stretch.

go!

I'd be looking for a Clio 172/182 personally.

Had my 172 Cup for over 7yrs, much more reliable than the naysayers would have you believe, quick enough & great fun to drive. Economical too if that bothers you, not the best interior or a relaxing drive but that doesn't bother me as it's my 2nd car.

Be brave.

Friday morning, keep refreshing the Pistonheads homepage until Shed of the Week comes up.

Whatever it is, buy it!

Someone's done 37K miles a year in that. Rather them than me.

X2 - I paid £1300 for mine, which was a nice car that put a smile on my face. Sold it for £2k 4 months later.

Get a Mk4 Facelift Polo, I'm just about to get rid of mine since I've upgraded (I'm not advertising since you definitely can't have mine as it already has a new owner planned smile). The engine is so solid on these cars I just can't believe it, used to drive 100 miles a day to and from work in it for a whole year and not once has it caused me a problem. Chain driven and very low maintenance. Car looks good too, just a little small.
