What's your criteria for choosing a car? Fun or practicality?
Daily driver that I love and can enjoy. Fun mainly. Reliability as well. I know both are very reliable. Not really too fussed about seats being small at the back. Hence my choices. Both are cars that are not really common on the roads (only seen 2 gt86's in a year on the road).I am leaning towards the gt86, but there is a little niggle in my head that tells me to go for the c30 for the power. Even though I won't be doing any racing or don't care too much for speed. I wan't a nice experience and it to be fun.

Hate to throw other cars in the mix but the better handling Focus in ST3 spec is a good compromise or depending on budget a Megane RS250/265/275 (budget dependent of course) but I would say before you make a decision drive the Megane.
Not really keen on the focus's or renaults to be fair. They both seema bit garish to me. However I will see if I can test drive a megane as it does look good specs wise.cropzy said:

GT86 apparently a nice drivers car and I think would have better resale value. The power to weight ratio pretty good too I hear. A guy in a GT86 had a race with me a few weeks ago and it shifted pretty well, although he did have to cheat and undertake cars to get ahead of me in the end :-)

I'd an S40 2.5 T5 with just 53K miles on it, and it wasnt the problem free motoring experience you might expect.
Of those two, i'd run with the GT86. I think it will hold its money better, its a current model and i think the C30 will just fade away in to oblivion.
