What's the general consensus of what's a good deal when leasing.

Is it purely if the 3 year total is half the cars rrp it's a st deal whereas if it's only a quarter of the rrp it's a good deal?

I'm toying with the idea of a abarth 595 , over 3 years it's coming in as £6879 think the rrp is £15,510.

Ive had quotes for a 595 (145) @ £14k (carwow, drive the deal etc) if that helps you in any way..im looking at a new 595 but the lease deals dont do it for me.

3 yr old 595`s are approx £9-10k..so id rather buy new then sell losing just £4-5k over the 3 years.

I usually keep my cars longer than 3 years anyway but you get the idea..

out of interest whats the mileage limit per year and initial payment?

Trouble is i get bored after a few years so not sure i've got any great desire to own the car , plus i like the fact i wouldn't have to worry about any repair costs.

It was 8000 miles a year , £544 deposit then £181 x 35 months.

8000 would be fine for me as its going to be a weekend/fun car but i do like to own my cars outright (no pcp/hp etc) so i can tinker a little..

but seems ok if you do a low mileage....
