Mini/BMW FS - Lease question

Hello,

Just wondering, if any of you have personally leased a Mini from Mini/BMW Financial Services - does the full vehicle value show on your credit report or is it just the monthly payment balance?

We are about 18 months away from a mortgage application and interested to see how Mini/BMW report this within Experian etc.

Your mortgage application will look at your monthly expenditure anyway; so before committing to the lease, consider how it will affect your mortgage affordability rating.

(I.e could you carry on paying the mortgage if it went up by 5% while continuing to pay the car lease)

Affordability is not in question, I was just concerned having PCP that the overall debt total is high (with the final payment/balloon). With lease, that liability amount is less.

However, on balance, looks like it doesn't matter as much as it did.
