Hey guys,

So last weekend my local BMW dealer had a special event on, new cars are special prices - event was appointment only.

Anyways I went and bought 'leased' a BMW F21 118d M Sport 3dr with loads of features.
I paid £500 deposit, £328 a month x 48, 10,000 miles.

I went back into the dealership yesterday to get my old car MOT before I terminate my contract.
The car salesperson called me over as I was leaving.
Basically she said, they've made a massive mistake with pricing etc and instead of me having to pay an extra £100 a month on top they've changed my finance deal. So it would be 9,500 miles, an extra £2.43 on top of current payments and they would register the car, so I'd now be the second owner.

I told her NO and left, We arranged for me to come back this Friday to see her.

Where do I stand now, legal rights and how do I play this to my advantage?

I told her NO, and that BMW have broken the contract I signed, so I'll walk away and they loose a deal and a valued customer!

Many thanks for the help 👍🏽👍🏽

Did you sign all the paperwork stating 328pcm x 48, 10k miles? Tell them to sling their hook, they're contractually bound, and you expect delivery of the car on the delivery date in the contract.

Think you've got off a little lucky!

https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/independent...

118d M-Sport, 3+ £276pm (inc. VAT).

Basic figures below:

Total cost = £14,000
Old total cost = £14,980

This will get you an M-Sport too vs. the Sport spec previously
