Morning all.

So mid-life crisis has taken hold and I have decided to take the plunge and buy a 911.

I have approx £50-60K and have found a 991 S which falls into that budget. It's a 2013 with just over 40k on the clock. Has some warranty.

Some advise needed please.

1. Is there anything I need to be mindful of regards the 991 C2S such as known problems, things to look out for etc? What should I be looking for on the test drive?

2. Assuming that the seller (trade) is not prepared to budge on the price is there anything I should ask for? Have read on these forums that some dealers have requested compression tests and alignment.

3. What options are considered must haves? Will the lack of a particular option affect the resale value of the car in the future?

4. General advice on the C2S. What is it like in the winter? Should I opt for a 4S or will with winrer tyres make is manageable on most winter mornings (exception of heavy snow of course)?

Is it an OPC car?

If not you need a rev range report...crucial, even if PDK.

Spec? Crucial for resale.
