I am sure I am not the only one deciding to go to a few car manufacturers websites to build a car to spec which you would love to own but do not have the money or cash to be able to buy the car at this moment in time.

What I do however "as I am sure anyone else who is playing around with these car builders in a serious or playful way" notice is the different specs you can add to the car.

Take Audi for instance. £550 just to get white paint which not that long ago was a colour you never saw and they would be giving them away.

The options lists just go on and on. You can price a car with stupid amount of extra's costing tens of thousands.

However my point is has anyone bought say a new RS3 but decided to stick with the standard car and not opted for the expensive alloys?

Are you this person who wants a RS Audi, Golf R etc etc but have added nothing to the options list?

It would be great to see pictures of these cars if you want to show us your pride and joy in standard form.

I saw a BMW M4 with steel wheels in black last year which was obviously for winter tyres. Thought is looks great.

You understand that this is aimed at the tuner market in Japan with the knowledge that it will have body kits and wheels fitted immediately.

From memory, it might only have a single seat as well.
