BMW 335D Depreciation Over 3 Years

What would a BMW 335D -X Drive with all the toys be worth in 3 years with an approx mileage of 10k.
The car Retails @ around 47k but being Pre registered 17 Plate with Zero mileage and is being offered @32k which is already a massive saving of 15k .
Would I be wrong in thinking in 3 years time I could get 20-23k back?

Have looked into petrol but its the diesel I am interested in and the engines characteristics which you don't get in a petrol also double the miles and less tax.

Best indication you can get for a future value is to ask for a PCP quote. The GFV will be somewhere around where the manufacturer expects trade price to be.
May also be worth taking the PCP finance (if offered at a decent rate) as it will give downside protection to value of your that way worried.

It is a March 30th date of first registration so falls foul of the new tax law.
Regards second hand private, I disagree I Sold my 535D but this had lots of extras so SOLD quite quick. Most cars with lots of added extras sell quick I know because been looking for months now and every one I ring SOLD.
In regards to PCP I personally think it's a Big Scam and the dealers are on a win win massive Interest, never your own the car so would never feel mine.
30k car then costs £41,743.95 - NO THANKS for me personally.
I am not saying PCP would not work for other people as everyone's finances are different.
Looking on sites as Ebay and autotrader 22k-24k for a 3 year old 335D with around 15000 mls is average at todays values. I do understand a new 3 series will be out next year but like the old 5 series F10 models they are still holding price.

The one that SOLD for £21,500 was more miles and much less spec as in small sat nav small standard 18" alloys no HUD ( Heads Up Display ) and the list goes on so taking into account this I would defiantly think my original 22-24k was spot on.You are also working out % loss depreciation each year on 30k which is wrong the car Retail is near 47k . I also seen the lease deals over @ HotukDeals and I wouldn't say they was giving them away even if they was standard spec again.
The ONLY factor here with my prices is that the new 3 series is out soon, hence all the discounts floating about with overstock. Going from my previous car which was a 535D F10 Highly Spece'd cars do demand a much higher premium.
If you look at Motorpoint they have or use to have lots of standard spec 335's at around 21500-25000 2015 models with around 15k miles
If you can find a 2 year or 3 year old BMW 335D with 12k miles with all the spec above for less than 22-24k please let me know.

Don't forget the car I am looking at is 46k retail and has a 34% saving already @ 30k alot of the depreciation lost already. I would never buy a " Brand New To order " BMW 335d as a personal car.anonymous said:

Indeed I am trying to convince myself and I do appreciate your input maybe not what I wanted to hear but the world would be a boring place if we all thought the same.I have also looked at petrol versions but prefer the diesel lump and its torque,MPG would not be an issue on either car. Now calling it a " Rep Mobile " lol never heard of that one before for the 335D.
Already done Insurance quotes and it comes in at around £400 a Year which was about the same as my 535D.
