BMW E90 Users , i need assistance

Bought an E90 today 2.0 diesel - tested drived etc; and it all seemed fine.

However now im starting to smell like a plastic/gas/oil sort of smell... is this normal?

The car has 6 Months warranty

Just want to make sure everything is ok .


Also - when I press the clutch down to change gear is it normal to hear a grinding sort of noise?

Is the smell burning clutch?

I wouldnt say burning -- just a gassy smell

Going to take it to a mechanic tomorrow to see if theres anything wrong with it
