Bought car insurance yesterday afternoon. Checked the insurance database and car listed as not insured. How long does it take for MIB to update their records. I thought at midnight everything updates?
Depends how quick the insurance company is at doing the paperwork. I had a traders account where it could take weeks for cars to show up on the MID, other times a day. If you phone them up they might speed it up for you.
Seriously, don't panic. If you get pulled by the police, show them the insurance certificate; they'll chase with your insurance provider, insurance provider will say "yes (s)he's insured!
