If looking to take out gap insurance on a brand new £30k car on 48mths HP would vehicle replacement cover be preferable to return to invoice? My concern with return to invoice is to replace the car may not be the same cost it currently is. Both I'd expect to include finance cover.
Thanks.

I've used ALA and theirs is called 'replacement vehicle gap' which does as you say - will payout to replace the vehicle like for like rather than rti.

There are obvoiulsy other companies who may call there product by a different name but ALA seem a decent bunch, are promoted by ph, give you a discount if you buy via ph and decent value compared to the rest.

I went for return to invoice - still better than nothing at all and it was only 135 quid for 3 years on a 21k car
