fast, exciting(!), well-built, =2014, ~£20k
Discussion
Another 'what would you... ?' thread, as per the title... please help with suggestions as i'm struggling!!
RE 'exciting' - i took a M140i out recently and whilst fast it felt numb... i may be mad but if it helps give an idea, i quite like torque steer.
Needs to be >=golf-size (no 'toy' cars).
Any ideas?? Please fire some suggestions my way...

Megane 275 Trophy.
Quick enough, if not, an intercooler, sports car and a remap should see about 310-320ish.
Well built, decent spec (Akrapovic, Ohlins, Brembo, Recaro etc.)
A good one can be had for under 20k

23k, but only 2000 miles.
Fantastic handling.

I did, what part of my post goes against the requirement?
i think DD is referring to 'exciting'. from what i understand if a 1-er doesn't feel that exciting then an R or an S3 ain't gonna cut it in that regard. civic might be worth checking out, but not too sure if will feel slow again (is slower than rivals). biggest issue to get over with that one is the stevie wonder sponsored by rimspeed design!
but maybe i've not given the 1 a fair chance, wasn't allowed to go to sport+ (was in sport), maybe a 135 with a jb+ might add to it?

Has to be the Megane RS275 even when they'd stopped making it, the thing still came out as the top drivers hatch against the Golf R Type R etc if the OP want a great driver's car then the Megane with the Recaros (& Ohlins dampers if you can find one) is it.

Off to Specsavers with you! Before you point and laugh I’d suggest checking the facts, no?

Specsavers will be shut now anyway, so you'll have to try tomorrow.
