Window tint on a lease car

Has anyone ever added window tint to a leased car? If so, did you have any problems with returning? Or is it worth paying for someone to remove this before handing back?

Ordered a BMW 4 Gran Coupe and for some reason I thought the M Sport included tinted back Windows but just saw that it doesn't. IMO, the car, especially in white, needs it or it looks a bit plain. Really surprised that it's a cost option.

I tinted the windows on my lease car - I obtained permission from the lease company before doing so. They said as long it has been done to a professional standard it can be left on the vehicle when handing the car back. When I handed my M135i back with the tints still left on I had no issues.

Cheers, who was the lease company if you don;t mind me asking? I got my car from Select Car Leasing and Arval.

I wonder if that would work with vinyl wrapping the chrome trims rather than paying for the black pack...

I was wondering if you had any look with your window tints?

I have also got a 4 series gran coupe m sport in white from select car leasing. Did you ask for permission?
Or have you any advice.
Would much appreciate any info.
