Help - need a new car
Discussion
I need to get a new car (2nd hand), at the moment I have a T reg Golf which has amazingly only done 60k miles but it's getting to the stage where it needs quite a few things doing to it and not worth the money.
I know very little about cars and have got a clue what to get next? Ideally I'd like another Golf but they seem to be out of my price range (my budget is £9k)
I want something which is small, has low mileage (under 25k), is fun to drive and you can feel it when you put your foot down, I walk to work everyday so I'll only be doing 5k miles a year.
I know you aren't reallly supposed to recommend on here, but I don't know where else to go, thanks.

You can get lots of Golfs under 9k, put your filters in Autotrader app and happy hunting I know very little about cars and have got a clue what to get next? Ideally I'd like another Golf but they seem to be out of my price range (my budget is £9k)

Go for a Focus (preferably in ST-3 trim if you can find one) also I'd be a bit more flexible on the mileage (maybe up to 40k) & you could land some very good cars:
Focus ST-2

ST-3

Astra VXR Sport

Corsa VXR

This is the sensible option but it's still a good capable fun car with three years worth of Manufacturers Warranty left.
