If it's got the old diesel engine in it then run for the hills and don't look back. Very problematic.

Not sure if and when Mazda replaced it so do your research.

When I was recently looking for a new family wagon I looked at MOT histories of advertised cars and a lot of 6's seem to suffer from corrosion underneath so I steered clear.
