So I have £3000 to buy my first car, I'm still young so insurance is a pain which means sub 100bhp please, handling is more important than straight line speed as all the country roads near me are one lane wide.
I've seen a few r56 mini one's for the price, has anyone got any other suggestions? It's not really practical but I just can't think of any cheap car which handles as well.

Have you checked the insurance on a Suzuki Swift Sport? Just wonder if it's a bit left field enough from the crowd to be statistically a bit less risky to insure. Also it's a good car, great car for a first one.

Oddly both the 68bhp diesel and the 93bhp petrol are identical to insure but both way more than the mini.

1st thought would be a Fiat Panda. No idea on insurance but what about a Renault Twingo GT
