I've currently got an order in for a Cupra 300 but as I've yet to receive a build date, delivery date may be wildly different to what I was quoted making it hard to work with my existing lease return.

So.

I cancel the order and go for my heart's choice of an Abarth 595 Competizione even although the numbers don't make much sense.

Or.

I say goodbye to monthly payments and worrying about mileage and spend £1k for something hopefully reliable to see me through my 24 mile ea. way commute on flowing A-road.

I've considered so far:

What else to consider?!

206Gti, Fiesta Zetec S, Focus ST170, Xsara VTR/S but I'd probably go with the Puma.

I think I'd struggle to get a decent one for that budget and rightly or wrongly, I assume it would be a bit of a money pit. I had a 182FF from new and loved it biggrin

For some reason I've convinced myself the Punto is the one to go for!

I've got a 306 GTI-6 that I use for my daily commute. Finding a nice one for a grand might be a struggle as they are getting quite scarce, but I couldn't recommend them enough.
