Hallo all, I'll keep it short and sweet.

Having driving nearly a year now I've decided a touring car is what suits my daily life the best.

I'll have a years NcB when I go to insure so any ideas of what cars are viable?
gt's generally won't work as they have performance aspects but anything with space and that's comfortable would be perfect.
Cheers

He may need a black box fitted with that.

Might have a better chance of getting classic insurance on this though:

cheers matey, and I just generally mean any sort of car with decent luggage space that would bode well on long journeys/road trips. The issue here is finding one with an engine I'll get insured on.

The two above would be great if I had an extra ten grand for insurance but I don't see that happening haha

If you want comfort and space try a citroen c5 estate.

Cheap to buy and very comfy with citroens suspension system.

Volvo S60 would be great but sadly too expensive on insurance for me, Citroen is good tho. Any other suggestions would be wholly appreciated smile

Suits your daily life...

You're what 18 years old, should be causing trouble in a hatchback, not lugging people around in a large estate.

Unless it's a 3 series touring...

Believe me I'd love to be but all in all If I'm gunna be causing trouble I wanna do it in a car I've spent building myself. So for now practically and comfort are my priorites.

I'd seriously consider a hatch. One of my friends almost bought a dreary estate until he realised he could fit his bikes in a CTR.
Unless you're moving absolutely massive stuff I think you'll be pleasantly surprised what you can fit in a little hatch. Used my Clio to move 4 11J wheels and 6 295/18 tyres last week. Absolutely ideal biggrin

It's not so much for everyday lugging but more so for the camping/road trips that I need the space. I thought about just a hatch with a top box but my teenage/skint wallet can't handle the economy reduction from that especially as it would be for long trips.

Unless there are hatched with larger amounts of luggage space than most?

Forgot about insurance companies reluctance for young drivers to have a hatchback.
Cheapest quite was 2000 and that was with a blackbox... I hate insurance companies
