1 month rental / lease
Discussion
So I got rid of my car in April due to work (commuting into London by train) so put the cash in the bank as we could make do with just using my wifes car. This will continue into mid next year so wont look to buy until May / June time (depending on next work contract).
However with time off over xmas and different work schedules, I will need use of another car for a number of occasions. Rather than a number of short hires I was wondering about a rental / lease for a month.
Has anyone got any recommendations as to where you are able to get a cost effective rental / lease for a month as the usual rental places seem a bit expensive just for a month!
Thanks

CVL and Enterprise do 1-month rentals / leases.
Be sure to ring around and compare prices at other firms. CVL and Enterprise are not always the cheapest.

I don't know how much a 1 month lease would cost. What about buying a cheap car then flogging again in a month? I've owned cars for less time and as long as its cheap it'll sell for the same price.
you get to experience 'shedding' if you haven't already and can buy something as stupid as you like whilst having the wife agree its a financially savvy idea.
