There is an existing Golf R thread already - I've been keeping an eye on that. But I'll keep an eye on this too now. Come Thursday, will just have 3 tabs opens for Golf R thread, new Golf R thread, and lease deal thread - and keep refreshing all 3 Forum Room for discussing the upcoming Golf offers as well as sharing prices and dealers.

Would be good to get a total cost and amortized monthly amount in there too?Forum Room for discussing the upcoming Golf offers as well as sharing prices and dealers.

My ludicrously cheap 2 year deal comes to an end next year (under £6k for 10k miles p/a) so I called up my local dealer about these new deals today.
Was told there are going to be 1200 odd cars available, but he has no more details to confirm yet. Is going to give me a call as soon as deals are out + will confirm if I can delay till June.
May I suggest you bypass emailing and call your dealer....

Can someone explain to me how this 1200 car availability works?
Do all VW dealers have access to them or only certain ones? Or has each dealer been allocated a certain amount of cars? If all dealers in the country have access to these 1200 cars through some online system then I'd imagine it'll be a bit of a free for all

I'm assuming it will be a free for all. Be by your keyboard on Thursday.
I'd be interested in a Golf R or a good Tiguan deal, and also interested to know how long I could defer for; I'll send my Audi back a couple of months early if the deals are very good, however.
As to 1250 cars - it's just about conceivable that that arbitrary number has been plucked out of thin air just to generate a bit of a rush at what would, I guess, otherwise be a quiet time of year?

Ok, I've not been on pistonheads enough of late....what's the kumquats joke? Is this another "powerfully built" thing?
pulling the trigger = pressing the button = sign on the dotted line = ............ kumquat
Don't ask me why, it was used once by someone and just stuck somehow
VAGLover: good luck with requesting a standardised format. I suspect you'll get what you get.
For everybody else: don't waste your time posting questions, when the deals land just pick up the phone.
I've seen it time and time again.

Pick up the phone to who though? As above, can it be through any VW dealership or just certain ones?Don't ask me why, it was used once by someone and just stuck somehow
