Looking to obtain / compare dimensions specifically around, Interior width at row 2, widest boot, across popular 2016 - 2017 family car models
What resources should I be looking at?

Thanks a lot for your guidance,

Ive found this very hit and miss over the last few months of searching, I was trying to fit a baby seat and 2 boosters across the back, discovery sport fitted them in but couldn’t find dimensions anywhere.

Also found some me give shoulder measurements and some give arm

Good luck!!

This is the link I've seen posted before: http://www.rica.org.uk

A lot of detailed measurements there.

Rica was useful but not exhaustive. Dimensions are basic facts. Regulation must surely allow customers to obtain facts.
Are dealers obliged to provide on request, the representative dimensions in brochure?

Sadly I doubt there is such detailed info. You could try asking some dealers nicely to do the measurements but otherwise I would narrow your car list down to your top 3 and take a tape measure with you to the dealers.

Check reviews (and specifically group tests if possible) on sites like Carbuyer, Carwow etc. and the videos on their Youtube channels.
They will typically talk about rear seat space and comment on if rivals offer more space.
