I want a snotter MPV for van work... without buying a van.

Something that can have the back seats removed, for a lot of space. Not something as small as a Doblo / Qubo. Something a size up / mid sized. This is for chucking desks, furniture in / so decent size boot.

Any suggestions?? Budget 4K Max...

Slightly shonky advert, but cheap as chips to maintain and no one will notice it when parked up. Ideal.

Hmmm I like that; will look at more Smax's now...

I wa thinking more like a combi; van based people carrier / just remove the seats - but I do like the smax angle.

Chrysler Voyager, don´t know how common they are in UK,
but some of my friends use them for all kinds of transport,
even a fullsize Drag Bike + tools, gazebo etc fit in there.

A mate has a Seat Alhambra, so I'd suggest one of those, along with the Ford Galaxy and VW Sharan.

His is has the V6 24v engine so 200+bhp and it runs on LPG.

Rented one of these in the US once (well, the Dodge version). IIRC the rear seats would all fold away under the floor, so no need to remove them!

Doblo might be a bit bigger than you think - certainly bigger than the Berlingo & Kango and well bigger than a Qubo!

Otherwise, yes, Galaxy, S-Max etc., good options.

Thanks again for all of the suggestions; I've been to see a Mazda5 and I like it; sliding doors especially.

Anyone have any experience of them; what to look out for??
