I know this has been covered several time, but here goes.
Ive seen a car which i like the look of. What sort of price difference should i be looking at between a cat D and a non accident damaged version.
The garage reckon it had rear end damage and they have before and after photos of the damage/repair.
Thanks

From my experience totally depends on what it is.
A ferrari you’ll pay 70-80% assuming it’s fixed properly.
More “normal” stuff 60-70%.
Aim for 50, if you get close you’ll do ok.
I’ve been out of this a few years, don’t know how the cat regrouping has / will affect prices.
(Used to be cat abcd, now absn).

At the bottom of the market it doesn't affect the price much at all, in fact having a cat marker almost seems normal on a lot of stuff. Anyone ever found a vx220 that didn't have a marker on it?

If autotrader is anything to go by, most dealers want the same price as a non-writeoff.
