Anyone had/driven one of these?

Never knew Breras were made with this engine. Brera was on the shortlist for the wifes next car but there wasn't really an engine choice that worked for me - V6 too heavy and £500 plus a year to tax, 2.2 a little lacking for the weight of the car but would have been my preferred choice, diesel does the figures but think it will be the least desirable as diesel is now the juice of Satan. But a remapped 1.8 turbo would give V6 power and decent economy in a better balanced package.

Nice cars. Not a fan of the style of the wheels ( Prodrive ones suit the Brera much better ). Guy near me has the same car. This might even be it -

I know he has had it from new and the area matches. Could be his?

Same engine as found in the Giulietta QV they've proven reliable so far:

Same engine in the Giulietta has a bit more poke too:

I like the Brera and that looks like a good low mileage example, but £20k for a 7 year old Alfa eek

That one at £20k looks horrifically overpriced compared to the OP's original one...
Looks like the pick of the bunch from the Brera line up don't they, just a shame they are so heavy as it blunts the performance stats substantially but otherwise they're a gorgeous car.
