New Hot-Hatch Purchase
Discussion
Hi Guys,
I'm looking to get into a hot hatch in a couple of months, I'll only be 19 but have realised that I can actually get insured at a reasonable price on some pretty cool cars already.
I know the these cars aren't DIRECTLY competitive with one another, but the shortlist is driven by insurance prices.
- Fiesta ST200
- FK2 Type R
- Audi S1
- Hyundai i30n (when its released)
Focus ST/RS, Meganes and S3's are all far more expensive to insure.
Not really a fan of the Clio's or Corsas.
I'm coming from a 1.2 2006 Corsa so any of these is going to be a huge upgrade
Just looking for any feedback/suggestions from owners etc? Just a bit of recreational gassing

Test drives will tell you what one ticks your boxes I'd wait & test drive the i30N as that may prove to be a cracker but also add the 208 GTI Sport it's a very accomplished small hatch as is (I know you say you don't like them) a Clio 220 Trophy, get some test drive in then get a final 2.
