Rejecting new car
Discussion
As I’ve posted a few times my new m140 shadow edition has various issues with roof rattles since collection . I’ve finally got through to them that after 7 weeks without my car enough is enough and I want to reject it .
They have offered me the following after lots of conversations backwards and forwards
1) order a factory order in exactly
The same spec - they will honour the same monthly payments as current deal which I fought hard for and matched trl prices. The 3 years will start again on delivery . Late Feb / early March estimation. If I order a different spec the monthly payments change as it has to go through as a new finance order .
2) refund the 2 finance payments made to date as I’ve not had the car
3) provide a car and insurance until the new car arrives
4) refund my ceramic detail I had done elsewhere
5) transfer over my service plan to the new car
6) supply and fit the m performance side skirts decals and spoiler that I paid extra for .
7) put my 405m wheels in storage until new factory order arrives .
Im weighing this up tonight as to if I accept or have a refund and go elsewhere . Any thoughts welcome

I’m really curious why the OP thinks this needs to be thought about, it resolves all the problems and addresses all the potential perceived issues - sounds more than fair I would say
I suppose the only question is, what if the replacement car is exactly the same. What would be the situation then ?Gary C said:

The more I think about this the more I think it’s a big case of buyers remorse, wanting validation to get out of the deal even though they’ve offered pretty much everything they can in the bookThanks for all comments etc All Sorted, Ordered the same spec m140 for 1st March delivery, got the current 520 d touring m sport courtesy car until after Christmas then will have a 330d touring shadow edition until the new car comes in March . They just have lots of estates as courtesy and experience Cars apparently but can’t fault the estaes I’ve had / getting .
Fingers crossed this was one of those things and will get to enjoy the m140 properly when it arrives in March .
Free motoring for jan and Feb definitely softens the blow .
