Cherokee KK or Grand Cherokee

hi,

I have been offered a Cherokee KK for a reasonable price, I wondered if anyone here had any experience with them, they appear to have diff locks and low range etc etc but I cant seem to find a great deal of off road parts for them, where as the grand Cherokee seems to have more available.

the Cherokee is a 2.8 crd 4 cyl
the Grand is a 3.0 diesel V6

any advice is greatly welcome :-)

The V6 diesel is the better engine (Mercedes) that alone would sway me to the GC.

KK is as ugly as a syphilitic goat herder with leprosy, who's having a bad hair day.

On the other hand GC are called Grand for a reason - they cost a Grand every time they need fixing. (which is often). I have a KJ and this certainly applies.
