I'm looking at buying a 2011 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 with a mileage of 66000 miles, no service history. What should I look out for.

I rented a 2014 Corsa 1.2 once. You can expect:

A bad back, those seats are awful. I went to a chiropractor to try to fix it.

The stereo is worse than my cat farting.

That 1.2 is so gutless it is just frustrating. I like slow cars, but not this. I didn't think it would ever reach 70, which was unfortunate as I was trying to join a busy A1 on a short slip road...

Really, buy anything other than a Corsa. How about a nice Fiesta? Or a Seat Ibiza?

Welcome to PistonHeads by the way, hope you find a nice car that suits you.

If you really want a Corsa - I'd recommend to try and find one with at least some service history

Try to get hold of a limited edition corsa, they are very rare and only appreciating in value.

This. Or a Mazda 2. Or a Suzuki Swift.
The engines in the Corsa are both weak and thirsty. The suspension is horrible and the seats are hard.

I have had many a hire car and the Corsa was one of the most instantly forgettable and least likeable..

The Adam isn't a bad car, if you like a touch too much garish chrome.

Other than that, I would echo the Fiesta.
