Fiat Doblo alternatives.

Im going to be doing a house up and the mini just isn't going to cut it and i wouldnt want to wreck it.
The fiat Doblo caught my eye but what are the van crossovers called from other manufacturers.
Wasnt there a smaller version of the doblo.
Looking at under 3k preferably. Im not sure on estates.

I had a Qubo diesel for 3 years. Decent enough, but not much use as a van. The boot is tiny, rear seats don't fold flat, and you have to move the front seats forward a couple of inches as well or the rear seats won't go down. We hired a Qubo petrol and a Partner diesel on holiday a few weeks ago, both driven 5 up. The Partner is much bigger inside, and faster.
If you wan't a properly useful load lugger, go full size - Galaxy, Sharan, Peugeot 806, etc.

I've owned a bright green 1.3TDi Qubo for almost 2 years (about to move it on)
I live alone, so I removed the rear seats (heavy) - and it carries alot more this way.
If you have a family, taking out/putting back those seats will annoy - alot.
I chipped mine - from 75hp to 100 for £200....
It's been comfy, roomy and VERY economical - you wont see the manufacturer's figures though. You can hustle it easily and perhaps see 47mpg on a full tank.... but once I did a long trip and slip streamed HGVs and saw 70, but ordinary day to day stuff you'll do well to dip below 50.....that and £30 a year tax.
So, I've quite liked my time with it, for what I needed it for...to not love iot and treat it as 'utility knife'
The fly in the ointment as far as my experience is, that depsite ALOT of these models being used commercially....they are based on the Fiat Punto/Vauxhall Corsa, and as such the suspension is made out of chocolate. Drop links, broken springs, top mount bearings, cheap and s

That and I've had to change the high pressure diesel injector seals on it, well I didn't, I had a skilled bloke do it...but that was costly.
Go bigger and sturdier if you can, or go with one of these with your eyes open.
