boring family car advice

Hi all. Currently have a BMW X1 which has turned out to be a really good car but it is costing us nearly £400 a month and with my wife about be finishing work for at least a year I would like to bring that down significantly. My budget would be around £275 a month and for that I am hoping to find something with lots of room, an automatic with reasonable spec (sat nav, cruise, park sensors).The alternative is I keep my the X1 and have to get rid of my Alfa GTV so please help as I really don't want to part with it

Alarm bells rang when I saw this was a 7 speed DSG as I thought that was a dry clutch DSG but it looks like the 2.0 TDI Superb and Passat have just been given the new 7 speed wet clutch.

I thought they were 6 speed wet clutch’s on the 150/190 2.0 TDI’s and this is interesting to know as I’ll probbaly be buying a nearly new Passat or superb late spring. I guess the 7 speeders won’t be on the secondhand market by then though.
