Import A Car From Uk To Greece

Hello to everyone i am George from Greece and i wanted to ask something about import etc...
I am new here in pistonheads and i wanted some help about the forum,forgive me if i make a subject in wrong topic...

i saw theese cars(s2000 ap2 - evo ix(and fq series) and the prices are very good but i dont know how much is the total cost to come and run with plates normally here in Greece...

is there anyone what money and for what reason must pay...???

Hi George, don't really understand what it is you are asking? Import fees or Transport costs etc?

We are still EU for a while so it's usually pretty straight forward to buy here & take to another EU country, some have horrendous taxes- like Denmark, others it's tricky for modified cars- like Germany, others it's tough for kit cars- like France, but for Greece I have no idea.

For transport actually I've delivered supercars to & from Athens to UK, I don't think the sort of cars you are looking at would justify the cost of sort of transport I do personally but will be a few multi car transporters that service Greece.

i must know if there are any extra charges to make Greek plates one of theese cars...

Well you don't need to pay nothing to export the car from the Uk, it's the Greek taxes you should be aware of which are probably on the govt website in Greece of what you need to do. Probably reg tax+mot but that's all on your side of things

I love how people outsource their work on this site!
Just google it, or go to the Greek Govt website relating to cars and car tax and find out.
Unfortunately most of not all of us understand Greek text!
