Hi guys and girls, I'm in the market for a dc2 integra type r. I was Initially looking for a 98 onwards jdm car but I've stumbled across a low mileage 96 spec car at what seems to be a cheap price.

Just thought I'd run it past some experienced eyes before taking the plunge on a 200 Mile round trip to view it to see if any thing obviously wrong jumps out? It looks OK to my eyes. Not mint... But it looks a solid Base to start with.

Anyhow... Here it is, any advice welcome

Is there actually a car for sale? The ad reads more like a general advert for their business, have you spoken to the dealer?

Hmmm you've got me wondering now. I did send a message via eBay asking some questions about mileage and bodywork condition and whether I could come view on Saturday. I got a reply saying I could come and view on Saturday but no answers what so ever to my questions about the car...

I think I'll ring them tomorrow morning

Well... After they won't answer the phone... However I have found the car on their website with some different pictures which appear to have been taken before it was imported or even cleaned. It's by no means a minter... But with the mileage and price... I'm still tempted to go for a look...

Interesting, I couldn't find any equivalent cars with that mileage for £4K, do you have some examples?

The seat bolster looks pretty shabby considering the ‘supposed’ mileage of the car. Price wise, that’s about right for a low mileage car 96 spec, but the condition doesn’t look great from those pictures.

I’d keep looking.
