-Naturally aspirated
-Has good steering feedback
-Reliable
-Handles nicely
-Weighs very little (no more than 1,200kg kerb weight)
-0-60 time of less than 10 seconds
-Isn't a targeted by thieves or has an unfavourable reputation, i.e. not too expensive to insure

I'm thinking of the old Suzuki Swift Sport or previous gen Honda Civic 1.8...anything else? It can be old or new

S2000 - albeit 1274kg according to Wikipedia which is just outside of your weight requirement. It doesn't feel like a heavy car to drive having had one.

I thought the steering feel/feedback wasn't the best on the MX5? If any car should have good steering it should be the MX5!

986 Boxster S is about 1200kg and certainly ticks the boxes.

You don't specify price/style of car or any budgets so its hard to tell.

If you want reliability you're looking Japanese with that weight criteria, I'd suggest, so:-
- Integra Type R (DC2 or DC5 - DC2 the sweeter handling with more feel/feedback, DC5 the quicker/grippier/more modern)
- CRX Mk1 / 2 (the fastback versions)
- ...others as mentioned above.

- or maybe an E30 325i Think the 190E performance variants were too heavy.
- Z3 2.8 may be a thought but not sure on the reliability there, and weight may be troubling 1200kg too.

If you can relax the 'reliability' criteria:-
- Lotus Elise fits the bill nicely
- As does a Boxster. 986's will definitely need TLC now.

...but assuming you need practicality:-
- 306GTi6 as above - engines are fine, rest is a little...ah...French!
- Focus ST170 - engine is a little lacklustre (but can be modded), chassis/steering I don't think have been bettered in a fwd hatchback, GTi6 possibly excepted. Think a little over 1200kg but close.

A tad over your minimum kerb weight of 1200kg by approx. 85 kg, what about MG ZS 180

There are many many cars that fit your criteria, I'm baffled that you even had to post this.

Unless there's an age requirement that you missed off?

Exactly this. Needs the criteria narrowing down a bit.

I was disappointed by the feel of the powersteering on mine - I now run a depowered rack, which is awesome. A lot of people bleat on about how the PAS is the thing to have, but many now recognise the unassisted rack as the better option.
