I’ve not parted with any money yet that’s why I’m asking the car is £36400
It's not crazy mileage, but there are likely to be lower mileage cars around at that price. I bought a 64 plate car a year ago, with 6k miles. There were quite a lot of others sub <10k. Price is quite mileage dependent on these cars.

It’s a proper competition with every extra on st what do I do lol.
OK. That explains it. It's still a BMW, just a little more expensive for the bits. 49k miles is not an issue mechanically and you are still in BMW extended warranty territory. I think this starts to get more limited after 60k, so you should probably look into that.

Maybe I’ll try get some money off this car or walk away.
So you're picking it up today, which indicates a deal has been done and NOW you want to go back and chip the dealer? On what basis? Because you're suddenly worried about mileage?I'd be prepared to be told to f**k off in whatever terms the dealer decides to put it.

Pretty much that. I'd be prepared to be told to f**k off in whatever terms the dealer decides to put it.
The time to negotiate is before placing your order. People who try this at handover usually get one response from us, cancelled deal and returned deposit, less an adjustment for the fact that the car has now been taxed in your name and an additional owner added to the V5C whilst it remains in stock, which gives subsequent prospects big worries and makes it harder to sell.
If it's not taxed in your name however (more common as with used cars it's part of handover, done live on DVLA website and the customer pays themselves), full deposit back and we'll put it back up for sale.
