Makinen or Impreza p1 appreciation

Which do you think will have better residuals and (potentially) appreciate most?

Given the late 80s/early 90s rally cars like the integrale and escort cosworth have increased a lot in value it appears the Makinen and P1 are now on the rise

However which of the two do you think will rise most?

The makinen is made in higher numbers but often comparable to the 22B which is already £100k

I think there are 600 or so P1 left and all were U.K. built but I’m not sure hence throwing the question out there

I'd say the Makinen because it was a worldwide model rather than the Prodrive fettled P1, but I'm just going by gut feeling.

Surely if you're going to get one you buy the one you enjoy the most.

Red TMEs are worth quite a bit more than the other colours.

My mate has parked his red one to save it's value and bought a white one to drive......as you do.
