Long time lurker, first time poster smile

I've got a 2013 Leon SC FR 1.8 at the moment which I've grown tired of (harsh ride/uncomfortable seats, low driving position, hesitant/laggy DQ200 DSG and has had a few 'known faults' which I had to pay for frown) and I'm looking for something "nicer" on a short 2 year lease whilst waiting for more electric cars to come

Ideally it would be:

Automatic, although not that keen on DSG (unless the 6 speed is completely difference?)
'Refined' interior, comfortable drive but good acceleration from standing (lots of roundabouts here!)
Lots of tech (I like the Audi virtual cockpit and BMW iDrive systems)
Under £10k over 2 year term at 8k miles pa, usually used for a 20mile commute and occasional long distance journeys so doesn't need to be a motorway cruiser
I don't need space (2 people max!) so will consider anything size wise - coupe/crossover/saloon

Currently I'm leaning towards the Volvo S90, which despite being h u g e, does seem to fit a lot of those boxes and is cheap for what it is, but the size is making me pause. Is there anything else I haven't considered?

Thanks smile

Hi. £10k over 2 years including initial gets you in to most things to be honest. For the money this a5 looks very nice. The sport back can be had cheaper. I also agree the s90 is great value.

If you dislike the dsg box - and I cannot say I blame you then avoid and vag car unless it has the zf8 box.

A 3 series on small wheels and auto box is nice or how about something like a jaguar xe ?
