Hi guys almost 12 months into a 2 year lease on a Scirocco R.

Just wondered what kind of service plan the Scirocco R is on, and can I access that info through the car ? i.e. date the service is due / and or at

what mileage.

Lease is 8000 miles per year but ill be lucky to do 5000 by the end of the first 12 months.

It is in the instrument cluster

On my old golf if you cycled left/right with the steering wheel controls you would eventually get to the service status.

It’s likely to be on long life which is 2 years/18k ish - so it will be due just before you hand it back. Car will tell you though

My leased R is every 12 months, sadly apparently regardless of mileage. Expect OP's will be too.

OP you're probably on the same batch of Scirocco r deals as me (March 17) and mine is set to long life. It will give you time/mileage the car needs servicing via the instrument cluster. Toggle through the different options until you get to car information screen then use the up and down arrows to give the service schedule.

My car has done aorund 5.5k miles and it's saying it'll need doing within the next 60 days.

My Golf R pinged up looking for an oil service after 12 months and my Cupra 290 has done exactly the same thing. Both only did 5k miles in the first year and both were marked down as variable servicing in the book.

I just drove both around for a month after the service countdown got to zero so that I wasn't having to stump for a second service before they went back.

The oil service is only £180 or so, so it's no big deal.
