Hi
I need some help. I am only buying a car as I am without car to later, in 1 or 2 years to change it for the one I want, which it is honda cr v. I could not find any of about 7k near where i live and i am without car, so for the sake of a bit cheaper insurance, road tax i am deciding to go for this conventional cars. I have secured both of them. I am just unsure who to go with. I haven't seen the cars yet.
Please help. I need basically any car that does not give me a lot trouble and that i can easily resale in a year time. thanks
I found a car old 2007 Cr v with 148 K that has a light dent on the arc of the tyre, and this is offered for £3K. but it seems it is too high mileage and not sure I will like the dent on it.
thanks for your advise!

Although we don't have much detail on the cars, assuming they are in similar condition, I would definitely choose the Fiesta. They are nicer to drive and will likely be easier to sell in a years time as it will be under 100k miles and petrol-engined (small diesel-engined cars are not massively popular before you even add in the current anti-diesel press).

What you really need to do though is go and look at both in the flesh in order to be able to make an informed decision, if you are not confident in your ability to judge whether a car is in good condition, take someone along with you who can.

Thank you so much for your comments. I was thinking the same about the fiesta. this fiesta is from a evans halshaw and I probably will be confident on buying it from them. and the corsa is from car shop which after a week they are still preparing it.
on the other hand i am being tempted with this crv, I do not know if it is worthed as I probably could love it to have it for as long as it lasts. of course downside is tax 220 diesel 2.2 and insurance a bit up, it is a nice car inside the ex model with everything, I want to be wise that is why I am not deciding... it is was a nice ride when i tried one, but this is really high mileage 148K and it has a small dent in the arc of the tyre (do not know whether this is something tthat can be fixed) good thing is that has a lot of service fresh mot, new clutch flywheels I imagine that is important. mpg is not very good i really do not do a lot of miles probably 8k at most.
I have a 5 years old child and we are just both of us but we like to take friends with usto do things together sometimes and like to take things sometimes.
Should I just forget about the CRV and think on it in the future when I can afford the 1.6 diesel crv?
at this point would be between those cars.
thank you , I know I am a bit foolish on this. and a bit tired as I haven't been able to recognise good cars from bad ones until I knew I could check mot history and tax online ;/ and lost a lot of time not knowing what to get.
thank guys.
