I am looking for a family car - of I was going German it would probably be an e-class but I fancy something different.

What's the modern equivalent of a Citroën CX?

Edit: needs to be new/newish as I have enough sheds.

You don't mention budget, but I'm very happy with my 3rd gen (2005-11) GS300 so far. Good ones start at about £4k.

I was thinking new/nearly new on lease.
I have a few older cars and wanted one that was "twsit and go" and needs no tlc.

But that sort of car for the money is very tempting.

You'll be lucky to see another & you should be able to haggle a good deal, get a loan rather than lease & you'll be rolling in luxury.
