Hell everyone I'm currently looking for my 2nd car to and I'm looking for something with a 0-60 time under 7ish seconds, under 11kish and I don't want to pay more than £2500 for insurance

If anyone has suggestions on what car may fit he bill please list below

All I ask is don't suggest a polo blue gt, the seats are just 🤢

A swift sport or mk6 fiesta st will probably be kinder on insurance. The swift is superb and would be my choice, a Panda 100hp could be worth a look too. (might not be cool enough though).

Get insurance quotes first, many places may not touch you at all.

Or a black box policy, where you'll lose 'points' if you do 0-60 in anything under 20 seconds.

How does that work if you're merging on to a dual carriageway/motorway?

My advice from experience is get something that isn’t “common” which would take out the civic type r and alike as this is how insurers create their prices based off statistics. My first car was a 2.0l petrol focus zetec which my first year paid £850 as opposed to friends with Corsa’s and fiestas etc which were paying upto £2000 for a 1.0l. It can be good to get something different with a bit of taste and maybe older than just getting the current Corsa 1.2’s, fiesta’s and polo’s.

You just have to impersonate a lorry and pay no attention to all of the cars you're forcing to slow down.

I've followed a fair few cars of late with black box stickers on their cars driving like they've got broken engines. When I see one now, I just prepare to overtake when there is a decent gap. I don't blame the drivers, they are just trying to avoid getting penalised by their insurance companies and with their insurance being so expensive, I don't blame them!
