I have some room and some money sitting around, I'm looking at getting a car to mess with for a couple of months till I sort the ST170 out for summer. What are the opinions on:
Ford Orion 1.6i Ghia
Ford Sierra 2.0 LX
MK1 Mondeo
Peugeot 405
Peugeot 205/309 GTI (No brainer, more of a commitment)
Possibly an Impreza 2000 Turbo, on parents insurance with me temp covered on it.
Not looking to flip for a profit, although something small would be a bonus. It'd more be buying something different to drive for a couple of months, get to grips with and enjoy doing some work on. The issue with an Impreza is I'd want to keep it, even though insurance says no. 205/309 I'd want to keep too, which I could possibly do as a weekend car when the ST170 is sorted.
