Range Rover (Third Generation)
Discussion
I'm considering a 3rd gen Rangie to take over dog lugging / general workhorse duties... the idea being that it should be big enough and useable enough, but still a nice place to sit for longer journeys.
What's the general consensus? I'm aware they're not renowned for reliability, but what are the danger areas? Things to check? And most importantly, which model is the one to plump for? (Naturally I'm looking at the supercharged one...
).The L322
Had mine a few months now and It’s great - bought for the winter as my M5 is crap when it’s cold outside!
Rust around the back arches...and check everything works and if it does don’t bank on it continuing to do so! Having said that mines been fine... and yes go supercharged! 😎

I'm still sniffing about around Rangies...
I've found a nice one, but although it's a "Sport" it's also a 2.7 TDi which fills me with dread and resentment... anyone got any real word experience of the driving of the oil burners versus the petrol V8s versus the supercharged one?
Range Rovers seem to have the reputation of being made from chocolate.
